In 2017 the Galata tower fee was 25TL and Topkapi Palace around 40TL. In 2017 £1 I got 5TL, 2019 was 8TL, 2021 around 17TL and 2023 Oct was 38TL. Yes foods and transportation was expensive now. My favourite Mosque is Camlica Camii and 2nd is Blue and 3rd is Sulemaniya Mosque. Regards

However, it is true that Hagia sophia now has an entrance fee of 25€ (as far as I know due to maintenance costs, something which is highly questionable given the little work that has been done on it this year or in the last decade foe that matter).

Isn’t that fish sitting there in the heat should be kept in ice? It’s no wonder some get food poisoning in those countries. Every backpacker I’ve followed has had food poisoning, some to the hospital.
